Our Mission
At GEPSENIX ENERGY SE, we are convinced that efficient energy storage is the key to successfully integrating renewable energies. Our battery storage systems enable the storage of surplus energy from sources such as wind and solar power and its feed-in to the grid as needed. In doing so, we contribute significantly to stabilizing the power grid and reducing CO₂ emissions.
Our Products
Battery Storage Systems: Our battery storage systems, such as the facilities in Spremberg (12 MW power, 24 MWh capacity) and Schneeberg (8 MW power, 16 MWh capacity), are designed to store large amounts of energy efficiently and deliver it on demand. These projects play a crucial role in ensuring grid stability and promoting a CO₂-neutral energy supply.
Battery Containers: Our modular battery containers are flexible and offer customized solutions for a variety of applications. They are suitable for both industrial uses and residential areas, thanks to our specialized safety technologies that enable operation in mixed-use zones.

Our Projects
An outstanding example of our commitment is the construction of a battery storage facility in Spremberg, Brandenburg. With a power output of 12 MW and a storage capacity of 24 MWh, this facility will play a key role in stabilizing the German power grid. Commissioning is scheduled for March 2025, and the facility will be integrated into the MITNETZ STROM grid to secure the region’s energy supply. Another significant project is the battery storage facility in Schneeberg, Saxony. This facility, with 8 MW power and 16 MWh capacity, is being built on company-owned land in the immediate vicinity of the Schneeberg Nord substation. By storing surplus energy from renewable sources, the system can feed it back into the grid as needed, increasing supply security while reducing strain on the power networks.
Our Production Facility
To expand our production capacity and further improve the quality of our products, we have opened our own production facility for battery storage components in Hilden, North Rhine-Westphalia. This strategic decision allows us to implement our projects more quickly, flexibly, and with an even higher standard of quality in the future—independent of global supply chains. At the Hilden site, housings for battery storage systems are manufactured and central components are pre-installed, significantly shortening the implementation times for complex large-scale projects.
